Renewed Faith

So this last week has had some exciting events for us.
Tuesday night I was wondering what to do about dinner. Jessica had made dinner for the guys but didn't think that there would be enough for us to eat with them. So we desided that Jessica would stay home, she was feeling some nause, I would call my sisters and invite them to go out to Applebees. So the three of us drove over to Applebees for dinner. When we had finnished dinner we went to get back in the car to visit Jessica and then I was going to drop the girls off at home. Well got out to the middle of the parking lot a realised that we were just not seeing the car, anywhere. Eventualy we were able to take the girls back home with the help of a friend. We talked to the police to let them know about our missing car. The best part was getting home and talking to Jessica about it. The whole thing just seemed so strange to us, not bad strange, just like God was up to some secret. We didn't really miss the car, it had been a headach to care for. The thing was alwase falling apart, the brakes, starter, oil, C/V Joint, just to list a few things. So that is only the first part, here is the best part.
The next day, Wednesday, some friends comes over after church, which we had missed do to jess feeling sick. Somehow they had heard about the car getting stolen and were wanting to see how we were doing. One of the had just been given a second car earlier that week, but a single mom was not going to need the first, so she wanted to offer it to us.
This car that she wanted to give us was a 98 Ford Escort with only a few minor dings to mention as it's problems. It had been well maintained and has a new cd player, and tires.
This is the blessing of God. That is all we can even think. Sure there were a couple tools that were in the trunk of the Nissan, it is more of a blessing to not have to wonder when the thing is going to break down on us in the middle of the road or freeway.
God is so great, and here is the proof.
